In this episode I’m weighing the pros and cons of flaxseed meal and chia seed when feeding babies, looking at cost considerations, nutrition profile, how you can use each and why they both work (decently) as an egg substitute when you’re making BLW fritters.

Combine 1 tablespoon of chia or flax with 3 tablespoons of water
Mix to combine
Let sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture resembles an egg white texture
Makes the equivalent of 1 egg
